Forès is known as the viewpoint of the Conca de Barberà for its privileged location. From the viewpoint there is a splendid view of the entire region and much of the neighboring region, the Segarra. The mountains of Montserrat seem very close and on clear days you can see the Montseny and the sea.
It was once a strategic point. At the beginning of the Christian restoration, with the creation of the Catalunya Nova, settling in places of great visual amplitude was always pursued by the accounts of Barcelona.
The church of Sant Miquel is a Romanesque and Gothic building, with a single nave.It has two doors, those of women and men. The oldest is that of women and is decorated with four columns per band and a sculpted eardrum. It is curious because it is below the street level. It is accessed by stone steps. The second door, that of men, is more sober and is on the side.
Forès is immersed in a unique and privileged landscape. Landscape and wind turbines combine in perfect synchrony. It is traversed by the itinerary of La Ruta del Cister GR175.
