The Museum of the Nativity of Catalonia is a space to learn about and experience a tradition that has survived since the mid-eighteenth century.
In this museum, figures and dioramas are spread over the three exhibition floors to offer a journey through this popular tradition from the perspective of the present.
The mission of the Museum is to conserve, exhibit and study these artistic manifestations in order to be able to explain them to the visitors who visit the museum especially at Christmas and Easter.
A space for research, restoration and conservation, a permanent center for interpretation, education, recovery, dissemination, dissemination and documentation (museographic, bibliographical, photographic and archive); Promotion and pedagogy of crafts as a practice of creativity and innovation applied to the conceptual, formal and technical values, to the design, development and technical processes of this natively art, interconnected everywhere. Created with the commitment and the objective of preserving the culture, history, tradition and the future of the cultural-ethnographic heritage of both the Nativity Scenes and the Calvaries of Catalonia.
