Muntanyes de Prades

Montblanc is the capital of the Conca de Barberà and medieval village located in located in the heart of La Ruta del Cister, in the valley of the river Francolí, at the foot of the ENP of the Prades Mountains. In 1947, Montblanc was designated as a Historic-Artistic Monumental Site for its well-preserved old quarter. The town of Montblanc is a better preserved medieval architectural complex in Catalonia. It is the city on which the famous legend of Sant Jordi is based. To keep the legend alive, the city celebrates the Medieval Legend Week of Sant Jordi every year. In addition, the city offers an extensive programme of festivals and events, in addition to its interesting museum offer. 

It is also an ideal place for hiking and mountain biking with many routes and trails.
